Welcome to the Hood Bichon Frises
website. Our family has chosen to raise Bichon
Frises as family pets because of our love for
this breed.
They make the perfect family pet,
plus Bichon Frises have the benefits of being
hypoallergenic and do not shed. Even more
important is the fact that they have an
easy-going, family-loving temperament. They
enjoy just being with the family and love lots
of attention.
Bichon Frises are a loyal, friendly
family pet. They are white with soft curly
coats. Some apricot is allowed, but they should
be mostly white.
Our current Bichon Frise litter was
born November 21, 2006, consisting of 4 females
and 3 males. We are taking deposits for this
litter.
We encourage you to become familiar
with the Bichon Frise breed. Please read the
upcoming book entitled Bichon Frises: A Basic
Guide to this Canine Breed, written by Karen
Jean Matsko Hood and published by Whispering
Pine Press, Inc., which is due to be out in
early 2007. We also encourage you to read as
much information as possible on the proper care
of dogs, because bringing a dog home is a
serious decision and is something you and your
family should fully commit to before planning to
buy a puppy.
We have already had requests for
this litter, so to be fair to everyone out
there, we have decided to handle it in the
following manner. We will be taking advance
non-refundable deposits of $250 along with a
request of the type of puppy you are looking
for. Please include whether you are looking for
a male or female and if you are willing to
accept any substitutions. We will be selling the
puppies in the order of deposits first received.
Bichon Frises sell for between $300
and $1800 depending upon their gender,
bloodlines and conformation. Females are
generally more expensive than males. Please
fill out the form below for advance orders and
send it along with your deposit. We will do the
best we can to match your requests with the
first available puppy.

a puppy is being reserved especially for me and
that the deposit will be advanced to the next
